1. Who We Are
cphfoodguide.dk is a personal food blog operated by an individual based in Copenhagen, Denmark. For the purposes of GDPR, the operator is the data controller.

2. Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the site:

4. What We Don't Do
- No Google Analytics or any analytics platform
- No advertising cookies or tracking pixels
- No IP address logging or storage
- No sale of data to third parties
- No profiling or automated decision-making
- No retargeting or cross-site tracking
5. Data Storage
Account data and user content are stored in a MySQL database hosted on our server within the European Economic Area (EEA) via Hetzner Online GmbH, a German provider subject to GDPR.
6. File Storage
Profile pictures you upload are stored on our server. These files are publicly accessible via a URL and are not processed beyond storage and delivery. You can delete your profile picture at any time from your profile settings.
7. Third Parties
The only third-party services involved in operating this site are:
- Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting (Germany, EEA)
- Google Fonts — font delivery. Google may log request metadata. No cookies set.
- jsDelivr CDN — delivery of open-source JavaScript libraries.
No social media plugins, share buttons, or embedded third-party content are loaded on any page.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data (you can update username and avatar directly in your profile)
- Erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data
- Objection: Object to processing where we rely on legitimate interest

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish data protection authority, Datatilsynet.
9. Data Retention
Account data and user content are retained for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
